Don’t even think about taking this scrumptious treat away from me. . .

P.S.  Good news. . . Evidently I’m not allergic!

Gabrielle:  “That’s my  sister.  She’s doesn’t feel good”

Stranger on elevator:  “Oh that’s your little sister”

Gabrielle:  “Yes, she needs medicine.  She did poopie and we had to clean it up.  We’ll take her outside and she’ll feel better.”

Said between floors 26 and 12, as we descended to the lobby  for our morning walk, at 2 years and 10 days old.

P.S.  For the record, Schnitzelle did not poop on the carpet and she’s had an upset tummy for 2 days.

Gabrielle was playing around and kicking mom’s head.

Gabrielle:  Can I sleep on your head?

Mom:  No.  No means no.

Gabrielle:  Yes means yes mom.

Imagination

Evidently, several animals are trapped in the mud on the beaches of Chicago, and need to get to the hospital – so they can get a band-aid from the doctor.  The animals include a dog, a gorilla and a zebra.

So says Gabrielle.

Every day for the last week, she has told us about the trapped animals.  We have no idea where the concern comes from.  We have yet to see these animals, but she insists they are there.

. . .

Today Broccolis were walking through our living room – yes, the green leafy vegetables.  And, mommy was instructed to catch them, so she could eat them.  The procession of broccoli continued for 10 minutes, while mommy patiently consumed as much as she could.

Stay tuned:  Gabrielle bday pictures to be posted tomorrow!
