Baby and The City

Filed under: Uncategorized — Howard Scott Silverman @ 7:32 pm

Babie Silverman made her first trip to NYC this Memorial Day weekend.  Staying in a Suite at The Pierre Hotel  on Central Park, she did it in true style.

Always up a little heart pounding excitement, BS’s first stop was a visit to the NYU Emergency Room for 4 hours of heart monitoring. Leaving no more worse for wear she promised to avoid sharp corners from now on.

Next stop, Bergdorf Goodman’s of course.

Where else would a principessa go?

Well, Barney’s and Prada were also high on the list.  And, dinner at Thomas Keller’s world renowned Per Se was a must do.

BS enjoyed the 9 course Vegetarian tasting menu.  Unreal to say the least.

This girl knows how to shop and eat.

I can only imagine how much damage she’ll do ex utero.

Nine and 1/2 Weeks . . . to go

Filed under: Uncategorized — Howard Scott Silverman @ 10:19 pm

Not quite the final countdown but we’re well on our way!

The last couple weeks have been pretty eventful for the Silverman Family:

  • Just over 9 weeks before Babie Silverman puts us to work
  • Daddy just got back from 8 days on the road
  • We had 7 (very long) hours of child birth class today. . . yes, 7
  • . . . And only 6 more classes to go!
  • Grandpa-to-be Ratner is in town for 5 days
  • Went to my 4th Red Sox game of the season
  • I’ve now seen frightfully graphic video of a childbirth . . . 3 times too many
  • All that hard work payed off, Schnitzelle caught her 2nd squirrel!
  • We’re down to 1 name on the super top-secret Babie naming list!

Whoever said horizontal stripes don’t work on ‘big’ girls, hasn’t seen Yael knocked up!
