So it’s official. Yael [and I] are pregnant. Took some extra work (thanks Dr. Merle Berger et al), but we’re expecting a bundle [of joy] in July of 2007.
Schnitzelle is very excited about her new job as big sister. In fact, she has taken to guarding her mother and regularly sleeping on mom’s [ever growing] tummy.
Yael had a relatively uneventful first trimester. Modest [morning] sickness every night (just nausea) and a few aches and pains now and again. Seems we are passed the “I NEED a chicken quesadilla EVERY day” phase and now she’s spoiling the growing “kumquat” (last week it was an “olive”) with a healthy diet of all things good and organic. No other particularly amusing or unusual cravings, yet.
